Cable Reelers

The TowHaul Cable Reeler provides a fast, efficient means of retrieving and dispensing power cable to Electric Shovels & Electric Blast Hole Drills. The TowHaul Cable Reelers are typically mounted to front end loaders, but can also be temporarily mounted to wheeled dozers or other equipment. Some of the major design improvements that we have made through the years are:

• Moved the center fairlead to a side mount to further improve visibility and to allow easier access when picking up reel.

• Eliminate the spring-loaded cones in favor of tapered cones for holding the reel.

• Increased the size of clamp cylinders.

• Eliminated the upper frame assembly to improve visibility and increase operational ease.

The TowHaul Cable Reeler does not have a fixed reel. Instead, it is designed to clamp onto a variety of different size reels. The ability to reel in or lay out cable without first transferring the cable to a fixed reel saves considerable time and resources. This is a great advantage the TowHaul Cable Reeler has over other cable reeler designs.
