The TowHaul Plus One Computerized Control System

TowHaul utilizes a Sauer Danfoss control screen and controller module(s) to operate hydraulic functions and to monitor the systems. The TowHaul Systems Department designs and supports the operating system program. We custom design the program logic and screen layouts specific to TowHaul products. Not only is this a tough system in the mine environment but TowHaul has designed, into the program, error messages that will display on the control screen to significantly reduce troubleshooting.

The control screen is compact at only 6 inches high by 9 inches wide and 3 inches deep. With this control screen we have been able to incorporate all TowHaul controls into this one screen eliminating the need for multiple control panels that clutter and use up premium cab space.

The controller module is installed inside an enclosure and is mounted near the hydraulic control valve. The controller module receives signals from the control screen and in return signals the hydraulic control valve to function accordingly. The controller module also monitors signals from various components and sensors allowing the operator to view the status of the system on the control screen inside the cab. We have incorporated a second controller module, in an enclosure, on the Oil Cooled Axle. The operator can also view various system pressures, temperatures, filter status, wire connection status, etc., of the Oil Cooled Axle, from the same control screen inside the cab.

With the Plus One Control System TowHaul can easily add a compatible wireless remote control that will benefit the TowHaul Towing Package.
