Design
TowHaul
introduces the first Modular Lowboy Trailer for the mining industry.
TowHaul offers a
front-loading low profile modular lowboy with a removable gooseneck that
can also serve as a tow hook for disabled haul trucks. Click here
to find out more about our towing units.
The patented hydraulic
grab hook design allows hook-up or unhooking in as little as 90 seconds.
The TowHaul grab hook was designed for the off-road mining environment.
The hook-up process can occur even when the ground is not level and the
truck is not backed up all the way. The grab hook will pull the lowboy
into place and ensure a safe transport. It is the TowHaul grab hook
design that gives the TowHaul front-loading lowboy the fastest and
safest hook-up system in the off-road world today!
The Lowboy/Tow truck
combinations add cost saving mobility for Tracked Dozers, Blast Hole
Drills, Mining Shovels (up to 1200 ton operating weight) and disabled
haul trucks. They are ideally suited for loads of 100 tons and greater,
and are able to utilize a towing unit as small as 75 tons.
Shipping
As TowHaul continues to expand globally, we have been faced with the many
challenges associated with shipping lowboys to remote mine sites around
the world. Many of these
locations have required the Lowboy to be shipped in halves and welded
together on site. This
process can, at times, be both costly and time consuming.
We now offer a new cost effective alternative to the shipping
restrictions.
Most sections of the TowHaul Modular Lowboy can be shipped to the mine site
via legal loads and assembled in less than two days.
