Manufacturing Marvels on Fox Business News
Our designs have deep roots. Dating back to the early 1970s, Founder Frank Smith (by Smith) designed his first piece of equipment for the mining industry. He later manufactured the first heavy-duty, off-road lowboy for the industry in 1977. In 1990, new designs led to a new company, TowHaul Corporation dba Smith Equipment USA, who then manufactured the first TowHaul Lowboy with its multi-purpose Gooseneck for towing disabled haul trucks.
Frank had the courage to create and innovate, and the insight and drive to design and manufacture what the customers were asking for. Today, our designs are still inspired and driven by customer needs. We are the home of the Original TowHaul.
